Adding a Service Record of Discipline (SROD)
To add a new Service Record of Discipline, click the Admin link on the top menu. This will open the Misconduct Records screen, click the Add Misconduct button.

A search box will open to allow you to search form the database of Members or staff. You can search by Last name, First name or PIN. Click on the person to open a new Misconduct Record. A person can have multiple SRODs added under their Misconduct Record.
Note in the example Sgt. Patrick Bennett has a Substantiated flag, this indicates this individual already has an active Misconduct Record.

The Misconduct Record screen will open. This screen provides a great level of detail and functions related to the Person and their associated Misconduct Record. More information can be found here: Navigating a Misconduct Record.
In this case, to add a new Service Record of Discipline click the large Create New Entry button. Note on this example Sgt. Bennett already has another active SROD which is displayed.

The Record Creation screen will open. Here you can capture all information related to this SROD.

The text fields are used to auto-generate disclosure documents to Crown. By entering the information once, the text fields will be reused when disclosure documents are created, more information on this process can be found HERE.
- Relevant - this text box is used to detail how this SROD is relevant to the court case. This box would include more detailed information to Crown, but each disclosure document can be further customized as needed.
- Not Relevant - similar to the Relevant text bow, but this would include less detail and be a more summary statement.
- Details is to document additional notes, these are internal only and not used in disclosure documents.
